How dumb they can be ;)

Happened to get to this conversation while browsing through the TV channels…

Channel – DD Podhigai

The programme was a usual humdrum to promote a recent flick ‘Raman thediya seethai‘. There was the Director (not sure of the name?) and one of the heroines of the movie with a in house TV host answering all sorts of questions of the viewers in the phone…

Caller1: Hello…
Host: Hello… chollunga sir… padam paatheengala?!
Caller1: Paathaen.. romba soopara irunthichu…
Director: Familyoda paathingala… thaniya paathingala…
Caller1: thaniya thaan paathaen… aana familiyae kootitu inoru thadava paapaen..
Director: kandippa… Sir Kandippa… familiyoda poyi paarunga… ithu oru nalla padam !!

During the conversation,they get to the next caller…

Caller 2: Hello.. podhigai ya..
Host: Hello.. chollunga unga paer ennanga?
Caller 2: Mayajaalam !
Host: ennanga Hellow… Mayajaal huh? (puts  a weird look…)
Caller 2: Mayajaalam.
Host: Oh… oH maayajalam ah…
Host : Padam paatheengala…
Caller 2 : Pathaen.. pididchirunthathu..
Host: thaniya paatheengala, familiyodava?
Caller 2: thaniya thaan…
Host: Yean sir… familiyoda paarunga..
Caller 2: enakku innum Kalyanam aagalaye!
Host: (putting a dumb laugh, retorts..) aiyyo sorry sir… sorry
Director: yean sir kalyanam aana thaan familiya? appa ammavoda paarunga…

I was so pissed off with the whole programme and the way they welcome each caller and the brainless idiots initiate a conversation; I immediately changed the channel, coz that’s what I have the only control of.

Nevertheless, the host was looking pretty, the only reason I was hooked up to see that in podhigai 🙂 not the movie or its makers… but alas, I was reminded once again that beauty and brain seldom co-exists 🙂
